Millennium Insurance Company offers Pennsylvania physicians medical professional liability insurance in compliance with the Mcare Act.
- Claims Made Coverage
The Pennsylvania required limits of insurance are offered of $500,000 per claim/$1,500,000 aggregate.
- Extended Reporting Endorsement Coverage
This coverage is required by Pennsylvania law and is offered to any physician terminating his or her current policy. The coverage extends the period indefinitely for reporting future claims
resulting from incidents occurring while the policy was in effect. Free tail coverage is available to qualifying physicians in the event of:
- death, total and permanent disability or
- retirement after five years of consecutive coverage with MIC with no age requirement
- Prior Acts Coverage
This coverage provides for claims which arise from prior acts of the policyholder while insured with the previous claims-made insurer. If desired, this coverage eliminates the need to purchase an
Extended Reporting Endorsement upon cancellation of claims-made coverage with another company.

- New Practioner Discount
For physicians who have completed their residency or fellowship program and are applying for professional liability insurance for the first time may eligible for a discount.
