LOCATION
The 120-acre campus of Valley Forge Military Academy & College is located in
Wayne, Pennsylvania - in
the heart of Philadelphia's "Main Line," four miles from Valley Forge National
Historical Park and 15 miles from Philadelphia.
Area Attractions
Within walking distance of campus, you can catch a movie, get a pizza, or hang out with
friends. Valley Forge also has partnerships with a variety of neighboring schools (middle
and high schools as well as area colleges and universities) with whom we host socials and
dances. And when time allows, you can explore the surrounding area - including
professional sports, a world-class music scene, some of the nation's finest historical
museums, one of the nation's largest malls, and much more.
Outdoor Options
If you love the outdoors - as many of our students do - you'll enjoy Valley Forge's
planned paintball trips, horseback riding outings to Valley Forge National Historical Park, ski trips to the
Pocono Mountains,
and outings to adventure parks.
FORGE FACTS
Valley Forge students take field trips to Longwood Gardens
(pictured above) to study ecology, to the Academy of Music to hear the
Philadelphia Orchestra,
and to New Jersey for a "Great
Adventure." These real-world experiences can help you apply concepts you're
learning in the classroom.
