SUMMER COMPASS PROGRAM
Our summer COMPASS program is designed to help you start off in the right
direction as you begin your Valley Forge Military College experience. The four-week program is created for students planning to enroll as freshmen in the fall semester. It is especially helpful for students who:
- Need support in writing, mathematics or study skills
- Benefit from small classes
- Value technology-supported instruction
- Speak English as their second language
The COMPASS program helps incoming freshmen build a foundation for success on
the collegiate level. The intensive program is broken into three areas and
includes daily assignments, self-paced tutorials, committed faculty, and
regularly scheduled study sessions.

Developmental

- prepares student for college algebra
- uses computer-assisted instruction

- benefits students whose TOEFL scores were
insufficient for college enrollment
- enhances reading and writing skills
- increases listening and speaking skills

- Students
interested in enrolling in

application for fall admission
to VFMC
