COLLEGE SUMMER
SCHOOL: JULY 12 - AUGUST 13, 2004
The Valley Forge Military College Summer
School program is an intensive academic experience focused on
individualized student learning and close interaction between
student and instructor. This focus and the scope of the material
covered require a high degree of student motivation.
Designed for male and
female students interested in gaining an advantage in school or for remediation,
the College Summer School program uses small class-size to help students
build the foundation for academic success.
Enrolled students will
meet a minimum of 10 hours per week in each scheduled subject
area, five days per week for a total of five weeks. Over the
period of this program, students will pursue a total of 50 hours of
instruction and testing time*.
Day School Program
The College Summer School program is a day school program offered to
both male and female students. Boarding will be available for
current cadets or male students who plan to enroll in the Fall
2004 semester. These students will be housed in dormitories under
the supervision of residential advisors. Summer School students
have the use of the Library and Computer Lab during the session.
Summer School students remain in civilian clothing during the
session.
Registration and
Fees
Students interested in enrolling in the College Summer School must
have completed and remitted an application form. The application
fee is $50.00 (non-refundable processing fee).
Upon acceptance in
writing, payment will be expected from the applicant due not later
than June 30, 2004. Payment can be made by either personal check,
money order, or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express,
or Discover). Checks should be made payable to Valley Forge
Military Academy & College and mailed to the attention of the
Business Office.
Daily Schedule
Classes will be offered Monday through Friday in two-hour time
blocks either in the morning session or afternoon session with
break times alotted. Courses involving a lab with be held in the
evening and/or afternoon. All classes are held in either the Hart
Art or Hart Science building located on College Hill.

* Course offerings are
based on student enrollment. VFMA reserves the right to cancel
a scheduled course due to insufficient enrollment.
