VISA
Once an international student has been accepted, has paid the
required validation fees, and has submitted evidence of financial
support, VFMA&C will issue the proper immigration document (Form I-20,
Certificate of Eligibility) to the student.
All international students require an F-1 Student Visa to enter the U.S. To obtain the
necessary visa, you will need to submit the following to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in
your home country:
- I-20 Form, Certificate of Eligibility (issued by VFMA&C)
- Valid passport
- Proof of financial support - an Affidavit of Support form can be obtained from the U.S.
Embassy or Consulate
- Evidence of admission to the school
- Fee for the visa

Once you arrive at VFMA&C, take your passport, I-20, and visa to the Office of
Admissions. Your documents will be secured for your safety.
When planning to leave the U.S., be sure to retrieve the documents and have the back of
your I-20 form signed by the Director of Admissions. This will allow you to leave and
return to the U.S. easily.
