RACQUET SKILLS: |
Emphasis is on enhancing skills and strategies with opportunities to fine-tune your game.
Drill, strategy, technical and tactical sessions are designed to promote
self-knowledge, confidence and personal risk-taking.
Players will hit more forehands, backhands, volleys, overheads, serves and lobs in a session than in weeks of playing.
Improve your winning ways whether working on doubles or singles. All styles of play can benefit from playing points in a drill. |
|
PHYSICAL CONDITIONING: |
We help juniors understand that physical fitness is important to performance as well as a good habit to acquire. We incorporate tennis and fitness while playing. Players have the opportunity to challenge themselves to peak performance. Emphasis is on warming-up and stretching consistently. Players will learn the correct way to stretch and develop good habits surrounding physical health. |
|
MENTAL TRAINING: |
Psychological barriers of belief can be broken...our philosophy is if you can believe it, you can achieve it! A sport psychology professional will work with players to develop a personalized mental training program that fits their playing and thinking style.
Mental training skills will be taught such as focusing, relaxation, emotional control, confidence-building, energy control, goal setting, match preparation.
Players will learn to feel good about their play, know their ideal performance state, become a self-regulator and get emotionally fine tuned for competitive success. |
